Roberts first announced the celebration in an Instagram post on July 24, 2025. She further revealed in a July 26 post that she and Laign were visiting the African country of Rwanda. They were attending the Giants of Africa Festival.
A day ago, Roberts also posted highlights from her trip to Rwanda and wrote, “20 Years, 20 Countries, One Incredible Journey.” She elaborated on her relationship with Amber and this particular special occasion, adding, “Robin and I celebrated our 20-year anniversary in a way we’ll never forget — in Rwanda, with Giants of Africa, surrounded by the energy, joy, and spirit of youth from 20 African countries.”
The veteran TV host added, “We’re beyond grateful to have shared this milestone in such a powerful and uplifting way. Thank you, Giants of Africa, for letting us be part of something so meaningful.” Fans were very happy seeing the couple engage in this celebration, and left congratulatory comments on Roberts’ social media posts.
