Iowa State men’s basketball player Tamin Lipsey will hold his second annual basketball camp on Aug. 9.
Ames High School and Bound are partnering to host Lipsey’s camp at Harrison Barnes Gymnasium at Ames High School from 9 a.m. to noon.
According to Bound, the one-day camp will provide boys and girls in grades 3 through 12 with instructional activities from Lipsey and the 2022 state-champion Ames High coaching staff, focusing on position-specific drills built around modified FIBA 3×3 concepts.
Campers will receive a camp T-shirt, a photo signed by Lipsey and the opportunity to take a picture with the Ames native after the session.
Registration is open from May 25 to Aug. 8, 2025. Due to limited capacity, the first 300 campers will be guaranteed a spot. The cost to attend the camp is $85 per camper.
According to Iowa State Athletics, Lispey is a proud Ames native who graduated from Ames High School. The junior guard is now a starter for Iowa State and appeared in 34 games during the 2024 season. Over his three years as a Cyclone, Lipsey totaled 1049 points, 237 steals, 429 assists and 385 rebounds.
