Mariah Carey announces cancellation of two more concerts

While fans were waiting to get a glimpse of Mariah Carey and listen to her singing their favorite Christmas tunes, she shocked them with some heartbreaking news.

On December 13, Carey was supposed to perform for her fans in the Prudential Center and Belmont Park of New Jersey and UBS Arena of New York. However, the singer was unable to make it to the show as she priorly made an announcement, stating that she was not well.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Carey stated, “Newark and Belmont – I wish I had better news but unfortunately I’m still sick and have to cancel the shows tonight and on Sunday.” The “Without You” singer further added that she was “really devastated about” her decision to cancel the tour. However, she said that she would appreciate the support and understanding of fans.

Before this, Mariah Carey also had to cancel the Pittsburgh show of her tour. She wrote on X, “Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much.”

According to her official website, Carey is scheduled to take the stage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday, December 17. However, it is unclear whether she will cancel that show as well, as the singer has not made any official statement yet.
