Students seeking free business attire ahead of the spring semester’s career fairs can find used suits, shirts, pants and more Thursday at the Memorial Union.
Available in the multicultural center of the Memorial Union, The Closet’s business attire pop-up shop features free, gently used clothing for students. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, and again from 1 p.m to 3 p.m.
The Closet is a student organization that began in Spring 2024 in continuation of the “Pop-Up Shop” by the human sciences department.
According to its website, “The Closet offers blazers, suits, shirts and blouses, trousers, shoes and accessories; all for free!”
All items are available in a variety of sizes and styles.
Students who cannot make it to the pop-up shop may also visit The Closet’s permanent location in room 2255 of the Memorial Union. Current students and ISU alumni of two years or less may take up to five items a day and visit twice a day.
