Tim Tebow. Michael Jordan. The late, great Anthony Muñoz. And now, Carrollton High School (Ga.) quarterback Julian “JuJu” Lewis.

What’s the connection?

A quick scroll through the latest headline-grabbing recruiting news of the day provides the answer.

Coach Prime’s attempt to flip Lewis, one of the top-rated quarterbacks in the class of 2025, has led to one restaurant in Boulder, Colo., to partake in a classy pop-cultural move: naming food after someone.

Yep, just like the aforementioned greats who have burgers, sandwiches or even pizza deals coined in some form of their namesakes, the talented prospect has been given an honor that transcends the NIL space, a creative ploy of Special Sauce, Lettuce, Cheese, Pickles, Onions on a Sesame Seed Bun—or something in that delivery style.

Shakes, sandwiches, and, of course, the classic Americana of a burger have all experienced the famous christening in the name of entertainment power—whether Hollywood or sports.

This might be the first time in the recruiting race that it was executed with the intent of swaying an athlete’s commitment. (Take that, Ferrari!)

It’s certainly the first in the “New-look Big 12.”

From a talent standpoint, Lewis is undoubtedly worth the effort.

Like the name of the burger, the 6-foot-1 play-caller has been as dynamic of a passer than any in the country, a full-hot order who completed 186 of 280 passes for 3,094 yards, 48 TDs and 2 INTs in 2023 — all of it tempting the appetites of major programs from Georgia and Alabama to USC, where the 5-star prospect committed to back in August of last year.

His tape from the Elite 11 has only added flare to the overall menu.

Will this official visit to Colorado and Coach Prime—along with such honorary accouterment—be enough to sway his mind and get Lewis to switch from the Trojans to the Buffaloes?

While fans anxiously await to see if he’ll be the heir apparent to Shedeur Sanders—and also if Juju’s Precision Pass is any good—let’s all take comfort in the fact that the internet is just getting the stovetop warm regarding this latest development.
