Kendrick Lamar is Chanel’s latest brand ambassador
Chanel has tapped Kendrick Lamar as its newest brand ambassador. The rapper will front the French house’s upcoming eyewear campaign (lensed by Karim Sadli), set to roll out Tuesday. The Grammy winner became a friend of the house when he wore a custom Chanel look at the 2023 Met Gala. Holly Thaggard steps back from Supergoop
Supergoop founder Holly Thaggard has left the SPF brand, and will no longer be involved in its day-to-day operations or sit on the company’s board. In a LinkedIn post, Thaggard didn’t share her next steps, but emphasized her love of entrepreneurship, writing, “this next chapter is just getting started” and her “obsession with SPF will never fade.” Thaggard will remain in a minority role at the company as an investor and advisor. {WWD/paywalled}

Louis Vuitton announces its Cruise 2026 show destination
The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2026 Show will take place in Avignon, France at the Palais des Papes, a Gothic palace first constructed in the Middle Ages. Scheduled for May 22, the show will be the first in history to be set at the iconic landmark. It follows the House’s past grandiose Cruise destination settings, including Monaco’s Place du Palais, New York’s TWA Flight Center at JFK Airport, Kyoto’s Miho Museum and Brazil’s Museum of Contemporary Art. {Fashionista inbox}

Kate Foster Lengyel, CEO of skin-care brand The Outset, which she co-founded alongside Scarlett Johansson, has exited the brand for new career opportunities. “It’s been five wonderful years building The Outset as co-founder and now it’s time to pass the torch as CEO, take on new adventures and keep innovating,” she posted on social media.
