Curious about whether Euphoria will continue beyond Season 3 and if Season 4 is confirmed? While HBO hasn’t announced a renewal, recent comments from creator Sam Levinson and lead star Zendaya hint at the future of the series.
Here’s the latest update on a potential Season 4 of Euphoria.
Has HBO canceled Euphoria or renewed it for Season 4?
HBO has not officially renewed or canceled Euphoria for Season 4, though comments from Sam Levinson and Zendaya suggest Season 3 may potentially be the show’s final chapter.
Notably, HBO has referred to the conclusion of Season 3 as a “season finale” instead of a “series finale.” However, there are no other positive indications of a renewal. Furthermore, a potential fourth installment will largely depend on viewership, reception, and the demand for another chapter, which will be calculated once the current season ends.
Levinson, the show’s creator, recently mentioned that he treats each season as if it could be the final one. In an interview with Variety, Levinson claimed that he currently has “no plans” for a Season 4.
Meanwhile, Zendaya suggested that the narrative might be reaching its conclusion. This happened during her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show in April, stating that “Closure is coming.” When Barrymore asked if Season 3 would be the last, she replied, “I think so, yeah.”
Even if Euphoria’s massive fanbase receives a renewal, it will likely be a prolonged wait. Season 3 was infamously released nearly four years after Season 2, mainly owing to production delays, scheduling issues, and the recent strikes.
Euphoria’s stacked cast includes Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie, and Colman Domingo, among others. It currently holds a 78% score on Rotten Tomatoes and an IMDb score of 8.2.
All episodes of Euphoria Seasons 1-3 are available to stream on HBO Max.
