Pleasant Hill offers reimbursements for stormwater projects
PLEASANT HILL, Iowa —
The City of Pleasant Hill is offering residents reimbursements for stormwater management projects to help keep stormwater out of local rivers and streams.
Homeowners can be reimbursed for up to 50% of the cost, or $75 — whichever is less — for rain barrels and other stormwater best management practices.
For larger projects, such as rain gardens, permeable pavers, and native plantings, residents can receive up to $750 or 50% of the cost.
Applications must be approved before work begins, and funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You can learn more about the projects here.
