All Nintendo has officially revealed so far for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2 is the briefest of teasers and a 2026 release window. Thanks to a leaked listing on the Australian Nintendo Store, however, we might now also know the price.
The listing was first spotted by the Australia Nintendo gaming site Vooks. While there’s no official eShop listing for Zelda: Ocarina of Time, searching for “Zelda” on the Australian and New Zealand Nintendo websites does turn up a result that lists a price tag $94.95 AUD for the digital version. That suggests a physical price of $109.95 AUD.
This suggests a digital price in the U.S. of $59.99 USD. That would be the same as Nintendo charged for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book and $10 more than the price of the recent Star Fox remake. It also suggests the Ocarina of Time remake isn’t going to be the full-blown reboot some fans wanted.

While there was speculation about what a recreation of Ocarina of Time in the mold of the recent open-world Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom games might look like, a $60 price points to a remake that’s more of a graphical upgrade than a gameplay overhaul. Star Fox received a bunch of newly created story cutscenes with voice acting, as well as some tweaks, quality-of-life improvements, and new features.
But it was otherwise the game that came out decades ago for the Nintendo 64. We’ll have a much better idea of what exactly the Ocarina of Time remake will be when the Switch 2 maker pulls back the curtain at this week’s two Nintendo Directs. The dedicated Zelda Direct airs on September 8, followed by a general Direct the day after on September 9.
